From the Consistory:  Covid cases remain high.  The Consistory highly recommends you wear masks in church.

The gardens are starting to produce!  If you have extra fresh produce, you are willing to share, please bring it to Zion House on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  We will have a table on the front porch where people can find free food to supplement their dinner tables.

Soloists wanted!!  If you or a friend would like to share vocal or instrumental talents over the summer, there is a sign-up sheet on the credenza.

Focus Group:  Zion will be forming a focus and planning group for the possible upgrade of the Audio/Visual System first contemplated pre-Covid.  The group will convene in September to formulate and evaluate a vision for use of the system during worship and volunteers are needed.  If you have an interest in a/v technology and/or enhancing Zion’s worship experience, this would be a great opportunity to contribute to the life of the church!  Just contact the church office by phone (717-677-8319) or email (zion_ucc_arendtsville@comcast.net).

Vacation Bible School is coming up July 18 – 22 from 6:15 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  Shepherds for each class are still needed.  If you are moved to fill one of those positions, please let Miss Chris know soon.  Children in the pre-Kindergarten group will need a person to accompany them to VBS.  Rev. Heather is in charge of games – there is a list of needed supplies on the credenza – might you be able to loan her some of the items?

Visitors – We’re glad you stopped in.  Don’t forget to help yourselves to a welcome packet on the credenza in the back of church!
