We have large-print bulletins available, as well as hearing assistance devices. Please ask an usher if you require either of these. Restrooms are located in the church school building. Go through the door next to the choir loft, and straight ahead. We also have restrooms downstairs in Fellowship Hall. Again, exit through the door next to the choir loft, turn left down the hall, and go down the steps.

*Hymn: “O Splendor of God’s Glory Bright” ……………#666
Leader: God, we come each from our own heart journeys to this space, to encounter you and each other. God, we greet this new day, as we are open to all the potential it holds, and open to the community that surrounds us. God, we reach for the sky and gather your love. We push down and release all the tensions that keep us from being fully present to this time of worship, and we gather energy from all the things that ground us here. This time together God, we know, is a part of our heart story. Amen.
We Recognize Our Brokenness
Prayer Of Confession

People: Help us, God, to offer the same forgiveness and hospitality to others as you do with us. Amen. (A time for silent prayers of confession)
Assurance Of God’s Forgiveness
Leader: God’s love shows no boundaries. God’s forgiveness is deeper and wider than we can imagine. God’s mercy is always with us.

John’s Meals Needs Volunteers To Pack And Deliver three weekend meals and snacks to the children from food insecure homes in the Upper Adams community. We have been currently providing these weekend meals to the children at Arendtsville and Bendersville Elementary. We would like to start serving the children at Biglerville Elementary. BUT–We need more teams to pack and deliver weekend meals in order to expand our mission! The volunteer teams should consist of 3-4 people to pack food bags and then deliver and hand out the bags to children at an elementary school at 3:00 at the end of the week. Each team would be scheduled to deliver the weekend meals approximately once a month. We can provide assistance to volunteers to apply for security clearances as required by the school district. Please contact Angie or Pam, John’s Meals Volunteer coordinator.
With John’s Meals joining under the UACT umbrella and its 501(c)3 status, monetary donations may now be made payable to “UACT – John’s Meals” and made be put into the offering plate or mailed to: UACT, PO Box 593, Arendtsville, PA 17303.
