Visitors: Welcome to our church. Please sign our guest book! If you do not have a church home, we pray that you will find one with us. We have large-print bulletins available, as well as hearing assistance devices. Please ask an usher if you require either of these. Restrooms are located in the church school building. Go through the door next to the choir loft, and straight ahead. We also have restrooms downstairs in Fellowship Hall. Again, exit through the door next to the choir loft, turn left down the hall, and go down the steps.
We Gather In Awe And Wonder
Chime Interlude And Candle Lighting
Leader: Loving Spirit, you have chosen us to receive your light, and we light a candle as a sign of our gratitude.
All: Friend, Advocate, Guide—Lord Jesus you enfold us in your love, and we light a candle to celebrate your Presence, in which we rest.
Leader: Holy God, you have drawn us to your wonder, as you set your seal upon us in our baptism. We light a candle in amazement that you care for each and every one of us, as your own child.
All: We light three candles for the Holy Trinity that loves, redeems, and sustains us.
Response: “God Welcomes All”……………………….#399

People: We live in a world of restriction and regulations where freedom is celebrated.
Leader: We live in a world full of noise where serenity is most significant.
People: We live in a physical world that is full of miracles and wonder. We live in God’s world. We are blessed.
Leader: Come, let us worship God.
*Hymn: “God, Reveal Your Presence” ……………………#412
Leader: God of all, today as we come to worship and praise you, we pray that we might be wise enough to open our eyes and recognize you in all things. Amen.
We Recognize Our Brokenness
Prayer Of Confession
Leader: Come, Holy Spirit! Rain upon our dry and dusty lives. Wash away our sin and heal our wounded spirits. Kindle within us the fire of your love to burn away our apathy. With your warmth bend our rigidity and guide our wandering feet.
All: Amen. (A time for silent prayers of confession.)
Assurance Of God’s Forgiveness
Leader: All the promises of God find their “Yes” in Christ. That is why we utter the “Amen” through him, to the glory of God. It is God who has put his seal upon us and given us his Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee.
People: In Christ, by the power of the Spirit, we are redeemed. Praise God, from whom all blessings flow!

We receive funds each quarter based upon the weight of items deposited in the container, and those funds are used toward the Mission Budget. For the first quarter of 2018, Zion received $272. After your yard sales, consider donating unsold appropriate items to the bin.
Single Serve, Microwaveable Cups Of Macaroni And Cheese are being collected to benefit John’s Meals. The cups need not be a brand name (like Kraft); store brand is fine. We are aiming to provide 200 cups each month and they may be placed in the cupboard in the rear of the church. The 18-pkg boxes of single-serve Mac and Cheese is also a good donation.
