To Assist the families of the Granite Mountain Hotshots killed in the line of firefighting duty

(From Senator John McCain of Arizona)

My  Friend,
Arizonans and our entire nation are in mourning after the tragic loss of 19 firefighters who died   battling the Yarnell Hill Fire in Central Arizona Sunday night.
These brave men were members of the Granite Mountain Hotshots, and their deaths remind us of the grave  danger firefighters face every day to protect our towns, neighborhoods and families. As we enter this holiday week, I  hope you will take a moment to remember the Granite Mountain Hotshots who gave their lives fighting to protect ours.
If you are able, I hope you will join me in honoring their memory by making a donation to the The 100 Club of Arizona, Prescott Firefighter Charities or The Arizona Local  Assistance State Team (LAST). The 100 Club of Arizona and the Prescott Firefighter Charities and LAST all are providing  assistance to the families of firefighters who are killed in the line of duty.

Please  continue to keep the Granite Mountain Hotshots and their families in your thoughts and prayers.
Sincerely,

John McCain
