Zion has expanded our popular ministry of providing soup and bread when members experience a need for a little extra help during an illness, after a hospitalization, or other time of household disruption. We now are offering complete frozen meals, that can be easily reheated. Under Sue Leedy’s leadership, the dinners are homemade and include meatloaf, twice-baked potato, corn muffin and green beans. Each dinner is packed in a compartmented tray and is labeled with heating instructions. We thank all who have helped with making the first round of dinners, which are now stored in our new freezer. Workers include Wayne and Val Bushey, Cindy and Roger Bushey, Minda Harbaugh, Mattie Kuntz and Celine Wilkinson. Kitty Myers also lent a hand as we were packing the dinners on Sunday. Please let the office know if one of our members is in need of such a service.
