Resurrection Rolls

This morning in creative cookery our Sunday School children continued the month’s focus on preparing for Easter. Under the leadership of Karen Morris and Amy Williams, the kids made “resurrection rolls.” Using crescent biscuit dough, they placed onthe dough a marshmallow that had been covered in oil and spices. That represented Jesus’s body being prepared for burial with oil and spices, and after the roll was baked, the marshmallow disappears and one is left with a roll representing the empty tomb. A great learning experience!013014
